The Kent house Gift Shop, housed in a restored slave cabin, offers a variety of articles for visitors. It’s mission is to have as many items representing the period of the house as possible. Pew dolls, candles, soap, doll quilts, herbal sachets, and bay leaf wreaths are some of the items created on site by staff and volunteers.

Local cookbooks and historical books by area authors are available as well as local honey, cane syrup, jellies and a tea cake mix.
